History
Formed in 1971 through the merger of seven technical and vocational colleges, Hochschule München is today Bavaria's second-largest university of applied sciences (Fachhochschule).
Offering an education tightly linked to industry in engineering, design, and business, the university introduces students to the working world before graduation through applied project work and mandatory internship periods.
The campus's landmark "Roter Würfel" (Red Cube) building houses the design faculty and is part of a community of around 18,000 students.
