History
Founded in 1993 and receiving official state recognition on September 18, 1993, FOM opened its doors in 1994. Its founding purpose was to let full-time working students pursue a university education through evening and weekend programs.
Thanks to this focus, FOM grew rapidly and today operates study centers in more than 30 cities across Germany, making it one of the country's largest private higher education institutions with over 47,000 students.
With a broad range of business and economics programs, FOM also offers flexible study options that include the dual studium model, serving students who want to combine working life with a university education.
